Musakanya named Kansanshi Dynamos player of the season

Solwezi based Zambia Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos on Saturday held their end of season awards to recognise and appreciate deserving players from the 2021/2022 Super League season.

The end of season Awards Ceremony was held at the Kansanshi Mine Dam in Solwezi.

On loan forward from Red Arrows Bruce Musakanya was the big winner as he scooped the Club’s Player of the Season award.

The Winger also walked away with the Patrons Award to make it double joy for the new Mabanga fan favorite.

Kenyan Hitman Jackson Jesse Were won the Top Scorers Award – having scored 6 goals despite joining the Mabanga Boys in January.

Right back Rodgers Lukonde won the Most Improved Player Award,

while Dave Daka walked away

with The Most Impact Player Award.

The most Dependable Player Award went to centre back Girese Muyumba.

Titus Chivunga got the Young Player Award and Club Captain Mutale Mutale was named as the Most Disciplined Player.

Supporters Player of The Season was taken by centre back Shadreck Banda.

Head Coach Boyd Mulwanda who has been impressive during his time at the Solwezi Independence Stadium bagged the President’s Award.

Former Club President Mark Silimi was recognized with an Honorary Award. He was the man that got Kansanshi Dynamos their first promotion to the Super League.
