MUNALI HOPEFULS TO COMPLY WITH COVID GUIDELINES

Munali Constituency parliamentary candidates have pledged to conduct their campaigns with high levels of adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines.

Speaking during the ZNBC Race to Manda Hill Program, PF Candidate Patrick Samwimbila said the holding of rallies amidst rising COVID-19 cases would be a great risk to the electorate.

Mr. SAMWIBILA said this is why he is forging ahead with the door-to-do campaign strategy to reach out to the people.

And Independent candidate Thomas Sipalo said he will use what he calls the “BOTTLE UP” campaign strategy to canvas for votes.

Mr. Sipalo said the campaign strategy will involve all sectors of society using the door-to-door campaign strategy.

Meanwhile, UPND candidate Mike Mposha pledged to bring development to Munali by using the vast experience he attained after serving as Lusaka Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other senior Government positions.

Mr. Mposha said he will ensure the current water challenges in most parts of the constituency are addressed when he is voted as area MP.

And Peoples’ Alliance for Change candidate Godfrey Ngumayo called on the youth to vote for him and work together to create self-employment through youth empowerment.

And Party of National Unity and Progress -PNUP- candidate Kauta Mwale said he is the best candidate for the constituency because he has known what the people of Munali want.

Meanwhile Democratic Party-DP- Candidate Andrew Masiye promised to address the dilapidated roads in the constituency.
