Rehabilitation works on the Mulobezi Railway line that links Southern and Western provinces is earmarked to start soon.
Zambia Railways Public Relations Manager, CARISTO CHITAMFYA says the company values the project because it will enable them serve the communities around the infrastructure better.
Mr. CHITAMFYA said this today in Livingstone’s Simoonga area during a media tour of the Mulobezi Railway line.
And, Simonga Ward Councilor, PETER MUNYAMA said he is hopeful that the rehabilitation will result in the Mulobezi train reverting to two trips a week unlike the current once a week journey.
