Mpika rally: Honour my father by voting for HH – Mulenga Sata
The UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and his running mate Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, accompanied by several other officials, have today begun campaigns in Muchinga Province with a large rally at the late President Sata’s farm.
And Sata’s Son, Mulenga speaking at the rally appealed to the people of Muchinga province to honour his father by voting for HH.
Mr. Hakainde Hichilema addressed the people and explained his plan to fix the country by supporting local business, providing stable and consistent policies and attracting investment. He explained that by strengthening the economy his government will ensure more revenue is channeled into critical areas such as healthcare and education. He stressed his pledge to make sure every Zambian child is able to attend school regardless of their tribe, gender or the financial status of their parents.
UPND President Hakainde Hichilema further pledged to work round the clock to develop Mpika if elected President on 11 August 2016.
Speaking at the rally former Acting President Dr Guy Scott charged that President Edgar Lungu will never have a vision for the country, and that this explains his unstable economic plans.
Meanwhile running mate to Mr. Hichilema, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, called on the people of Mpika not to listen to the tribal rhetoric of the PF. Mulenga, son to the late President Sata, appealed to Mpika residents to vote for Mr. Hichilema in honour of his late father.
UDF President Miles Sampa said his counterpart for UPND, Mr. Hichilema, has economic management expertise that the country is urgently in need of in order to revive the economy and create much needed job opportunities.
