Monsanto Zambia launches new product names

Monsanto Zambia today announced the launch of their new product names and held a press briefing to educate their clients on why they took the direction of renaming their products. Monsanto’s main goal was to launch the local names for their seed varieties. Competitors have used local language names for their hybrids which contributes to brand resonance.
The 3 local names launched today were:

DK777 – Shoma
DKC90-89 – Ngao Ngao
DKC80-33 – Tamanga

Monsanto is an agricultural company, helping farmers large and small grow food more sustainably.
