MINIMUM WAGE DEFAULTERS WARNED

Government has warned that it will penalise employers that have not been paying their workers the revised minimum wage.
Minister of Labour Joyce Simukoko says employers that did not effect the new wage will also have to pay the workers in arrears.
Mrs. Simukoko says the minimum wage is law and there is no reason why employers should give excuses because workers had not received an increase in six years.
She told ZNBC News in an interview that workers who have not started getting the revived minimum wage should report to the Ministry of Labour.
