MIETE IS A WARRIOR

Zambian Super League Side Kabwe Warriors have acquired the services of Congolese midfielder Landu Liya Miete from rivals Prison Leopards on a permanent deal.

The former Don Bosco striker joins the five times Zambian champions on the back of a great first-round performance in the Eden National First Division with Prison Leopards.

Speaking to Kabwe Warriors Media after being unveiled yesterday, Miete assured the fans of a positive contribution to the team.

“I am here to contribute to the success of the team. It will not be an individual effort but a team effort. I am very grateful to Kabwe Warriors for showing interest in me,” he said.

Miete becomes the third signing for the kabwe based side this January Transfer window after the arrival of Nchimunya Munene and Zimbabwean goalkeeper Collen Phiri.
