MELU MOST INFLUENTIAL AFRICAN WOMEN

Absa Bank Zambia PLC Managing Director MIZINGA MELU has been recognized as the Most Influential African Women Banker of the Year at the Africa Bank 4-point Zero Awards.

Mrs MELU was awarded through a voting system in which members across the African banking fraternity gave the highest number of votes for Mrs. MELU in her respective category.

The Africa Bank 4.0 award ceremony took place yesterday in Nairobi, Kenya.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mrs MELU said the award means a lot to her.

Alongside receiving her award, Mrs MELU also delivered remarks on setting the scene for gender inclusion on Africa and participated in a Women Voices CEO panel discussion with other distinguished women personalities in the African financial services sector.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by ABSA Bank.
