Minister of Youth, Sports and Child Development Moses Mawere says it is not true that Lusaka city alone has 2,000 street children.
Mr Mawere says such reports by some media houses are incorrect.
He has told ZNBC News that government recently undertook a head count of street kids through the Child Protection Unit (CPU), which revealed that the number stands at three hundred and four.
