MATERO GYM SUMMONED OVER PROTEST

The Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation has summoned Lusaka’s Matero Gym Executive, for a disciplinary hearing.
This follows the alleged misconduct of Matero Gym Executive members during the 2018 Mr ZAMBIA body-building contest last month.
Federation Secretary-General, Cornelius Chanda has confirmed the summoning of Matero Gym Executive.
Chanda says the ZBBFF instituted investigations into the misconduct of Matero Gym members, who disputed the results, when nine time Mr Zambia, Sylvester Mwila was declared winner.
Chanda says alot of stakeholders complained about the misconduct at the competiton, accusing the offending parties of hurling insults at the judges, after their prefered contestant, Clement Shamboko lost.
He has added that the disciplinary committee, which has summoned the Matero Gym executive, will sit this week and the outcome will be communicated to the public.
Efforts to get a comment from Matero Gym executive proved futile by broadcast time.
