A crunchy Livinstone derby takes centre stage on Wednesday afternoon at St Rapheals school ground as Maramba Stars tackle Blue Arrows in the intense fixture of the second round.

Maramba Stars are still trying hard to find their feet and get back to winnings ways since last they won a match beating Young Green Eagles in this campaign so as to be able to join the title chase as they sit in the bottom half of the table having managed only 8 points from a possible 36 after 12 games.

The peoples team are going into this derby on the back of a draw away to Yeta. Despite the fine form and picking up draws, the Maramba outfit have to start picking maximum points as draws are a disadvantaging them on the log and in chasing for promotion.

If the peoples team are able to manage a win against there town rivals who beat them last time they met at the same venue in Division two south years back, they will move out of the bottom half to 27 points provided Swallows and Pirates fail to pick points.

Blue arrows could not do much to maintain their unbeaten runat home this season as it was brougt to an end last weekend. The airmen head into the game on Wednesday at St Rapheals with a 2-0 loss they suffered at the hands of Zesco Shockers last saturday.

They are banking their belief on their away form which they have had in the last two games beating swallows and Maamba Energy.

They have a chance of going up to third place if they beat the peoples team on provided the teqne above them drop points in their respective games.

Dont be told,be there..
