Mansa Bishop Praises Lungu

Masauso Mkwayaya-Catholic Mansa Diocese Bishop, PATRICK CHISANGA, has hailed President EDGAR LUNGU for his personal interest and effort in improving girl child education in the country .

Bishop CHISANGA says it is encouraging to see the Head of State partnering with the Church to support girl child education .

The Bishop says President LUNGU’s effort are consequently helping to fight early marriages especially in rural settings such as Kabunda located in the outskirts of Mansa.

Bishop CHISANGA said this in Mansa at Holy Trinity Girls Secondary School when the Special Assistant to the President for Projects Implementation and Monitoring, ANDREW CHELLAH ,inspected a 1 by 3 classroom block funded by President EDGAR LUNGU.

And Mr. CHELLAH says the classroom block is a practical example of the President’s commitment in promoting girl child education In country.

Mr. CHELLAH added that the Presidents resolve to further ensure that Christian values are inculcated in learners should be supported by all well meaning Zambians .

Earlier in the year President LUNGU funded the construction of a girls dormitory at the same School with the capacity to accommodate 66 pupils.
