Lwandamina honored to be recognized, talks need to qualify

Zesco United Head Coach George Lwandamina has expressed happiness on his appointment as Technical Advisor for the senior Chipolopolo.

In an interview from Blida Algeria, Lwandamina said in was honored to be appointed and will do it for mother Zambia.

“It is an honor to be recognized by FAZ, I will make this appointment with all thanks and will do it for mother Zambia,” he told the Zamfoot crew.

The Chipolopolo boys have set up camp in Bilda, Algeria with all players summoned to camp having reported by Tuesday and Lwandamina says there is a lot of enthusiasm in the team.

“The players are blending in well and there is just too much enthusiasm and the expression is great, we just hoping that they will do that during the match, ” he said.

“The boys know that we have to do it, we need to qualify to the Afcon and the first game is always important. We have to qualify and we have to fight to the end.”

Zambia will take on the defending African champions Algeria on Thursday in the first match of the 2021 Africa Cup qualifiers.
