Lusambo Tips Teachers on Social Media Use

By Lucky Phiri-Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo has advised teachers in Luangwa District to encourage pupils to use social media positively.

Mr. Lusambo says teachers should inculcate national values and morals in the pupils as they are the future leaders.

He has bemoaned the rate at which young people are abusing social media by insulting and discrediting adults.

The Minister said this when he held a meeting with teachers from all the schools in Luangwa District.

And Mr. Lusambo has challenged teachers in Luangwa to contribute towards making Lusaka the best Province in terms of examination pass rate.

He has pledged to personally support the schools that will produce best results in the province.

Speaking earlier, Luangwa District Commissioner Julius Sikasote called for dedication to work among the teachers following the reopening of schools.

And Provincial Education Officer Christopher Sinkamba said teachers are happy to be visited and encouraged by their leaders.
