Health Minister JONAS CHANDA says the newly constructed Chipata, Kanyama and Chawama Level one hospitals in Lusaka will be prioritised for Commissioning.
Dr CHANDA observed that there is need to expand health services from the old clinics to first level hospitals because of increasing population.
He said this when he visited Kanyama level one Hospital.
And University Teaching Hospital -UTH- Director Clinical and diagnostic care services ALEX MAKUPE explained that his team will look at additional staff when the three remaining level one hospitals are commissioned.
Meanwhile, Dr. CHANDA noted with concerns the lack of mortuary services at Chawama level one hospital.
