Lusaka dynamos aim for Stream A top spot

By Osward Hamanyuma | April 13, 2019

Impressive Lusaka Dynamos aim to top Stream A as they welcome struggling Maite (Mighty) Mufulira Wanderers in a week 12 fixture scheduled to take place at National Heroes Stadium. LD have been picking up results in the past games which puts them in a good position to fight for the title.

The Elite who are fresh from beating Zanaco 3-1 with Chris Mugalu scoring brace, will move to the summit of Stream A depending on the outcome in the match between Zesco and Kabwe Warriors in Ndola.

While new Mufulira Wanderers coach Elijah Chikwanda will be hoping that his team will pick up their first win since that famous 2-1 win over Zesco United. Maite who are sitting 2 points above relegation zone and will need these maximum points more than ever to escape the drop zone.

This fixture at Shinde Stadium in the first round produced a barren draw and after the match on 13th February Coach Danny Kabwe was “suspended” after a poor run of results including a week two 5-2 lose to Zanaco. Ever since LD have not lost any match.
