Lusaka City Market goes up in flames

Fire has swept through Lusaka City Market and Bus Station in the early hours of today, reducing property worth millions of kwacha to ashes.

Police spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed the development but could not give details.

This comes just days after Zesco electricity lines where vandalised by unknown people.
