LUNGU TO PARTICIPATE IN AU VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY

By Etambuyu Katota-President Edgar Lungu is this weekend expected to participate in the African Union- AU 13th and 14th virtual Extraordinary Sessions of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government.

The Extra-ordinary Sessions will discuss the implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area -AfCFTA- and the mechanism developed to implement the Silencing of Guns in Africa.

President Lungu will be with Foreign Affairs Minister Joe Malanji and Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Christopher Yaluma.

The 13th and 14th Extraordinary Sessions of the Assembly of the Heads of State meeting will be held on December 5th and 6th 2020.
