Lungu Swears-in Musonda As Deputy Chief Justice

President Edgar Lungu has appointed and sworn- in Justice Michael Musonda as Deputy Chief Justice.President Lungu has also appointed and sworn-in PF Lupososhi Member of Parliament Bwalya Chungu as Northern Province Minister.Speaking during the swearing in ceremony, President Lungu said Justice Musonda’s appointment follows his immense contribution to Zambia’s judicial system and the international legal fraternity.The Head of State has since tasked the new Deputy Chief Justice to enhance the judicial process.And Justice Musonda has promised to follow President Lungu ‘s directive to improve the judicial system.And President Lungu has urged Mr. Chungu, who takes over from Brian Mundubile as Northern Province minister, to develop the area which he said has potential for economic growth.Mr. Mundubile has been taken to Parliament as Chief Whip taking over from Stephen Chungu.
