Lungu honours Muntanga
President Edgar Lungu has declared tomorrow, July 12, 2016 a day of national mourning in honour of former Kalomo United Party for National Development (UPND) Member of Parliament Request Muntanga who died on Friday afternoon.
And the Head of State has sent a message of condolences to the Muntanga family.
President Lungu acknowledged the fearless manner Muntanga conducted his debates in parliament hailing his steadfastness in defending his beliefs.
The funeral for the late Muntanga will be held at his farm in Kalomo.
He was a founder member of the UPND and served as Kalomo MP for 15 years. He was one of the pillars of the opposition UPND and was Chairman for Mobilisation at the time of his death.
