President Edgar Lungu has pledged to deliver development to all parts of the country.

The President says as long as the PF remains in power, he will ensure that he takes development to all corners of the country.

Speaking when he addressed a public rally in Kafue district, President Lungu assured Kafue residents that the area will not lag behind in terms of development.

President Lungu has asked the people of Kafue to vote for the PF, which he says will not be a mistake, because the party has a proven track record.

He has explained that unlike the opposition, who have no experience, the PF, himself and government have shown what they can do in the short time, the party has been in power.

President Lungu added that his government is a listening government, which has heard the need for jobs for young people in Kafue, which he has promised to deliver.

He has said government will recapitalise the Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia, as well as work towards expansion of the Kafue Steel Plant, in order to create jobs for young people.

The President also introduced PF Kafue parliamentary candidate, Gibson Sinkala and Council Chairperson candidate, Catherine Chapeshamano.

And President Lungu has directed Zambia Public Procurement Authority -ZPPA- to ensure that infrastructural projects in the country are supplied with locally produced products.

Launching the Direct Reduced Iron -DRI- at Universal Mining and Chemicals Industries Limited in Kafue today, President Lungu says this will help in promoting locally produced products.

The President says government is committed to addressing challenges faced by the steel company such as improving connectivity between Kafue and Mumbwa.
