LUNGU ASKS CHIEFS TO FIGHT TRIBALISM

President Edgar Lungu has appealed to traditional leaders to help in fighting tribalism.
The President said he is saddened that political players are the ones in the forefront promoting tribalism among Zambians in the name of politics.
President Lungu said he will continue to engage traditional leaders in governing the country because they play a vital role.
President Lungu was speaking when called on senior Chief Mwenemutondo at his Palace in Mangango today.
And Senior Chief Mwenemutondo of the Nkoya people of Kaoma District has urged his subjects to continue working and supporting Government to foster development in the District.
The Traditional Leader says Kaoma has remained underdeveloped and that working with Government will help to develop it.
