Luka Lungu handed coaching job as he gets technical bench backing

FAZ Division One side Young Napsa Stars have a New Coach in Luka LUNGU, the striker who had successful spells at both TP Mazembe of DR Congo and Powerful Power Dynamos. The New Gaffer Luka Lungu will be helping out Geoffrey Hangwende with coaching the Junior Team but will still be playing for the senior team.

The technical bench has already sat down with the player to prepare him for this journey of being a coach. Luka only Managed to score a goal in the Just ended Transitional League.

“Am Delighted with this new Offer especially that it’s within my dreams and something I have enjoyed doing from Childhood,” Luka said.

Napsa head coach Muhammad Fathi believes Luka will make a good coach with he’s a vast experience both at local and international level as a player. Fathi acknowledged the discipline, commitment and fighting Spirit portrayed by Luka during he’s stay at NAPSA and hopes he plays a vital role at Young NAPSA.

“He (Luka) can still play for the senior club and fight for a place, Fitness and endurance are one of the qualities of a good coach and they should be part of him,” he said.

Fathi went on to wish Luka well and challenged him to maintain the clubs Philosophy and pass on his skills and character to the next stars at NAPSA.

Napsa Stars Assistant coach Donwell Yobe who also started as a coach-player encouraged Luka to embrace himself and accept the appointment as it is a Rare Opportunity for Management to make such a decision. He went on to challenge Luka to remain focused as Coaching and Active playing are different roles. Donwell believes Luka will make a good coach for being involved in football for a long time.
