LAZ bans Mushipe

PRISCILLA CHIPULU, Lusaka
THE Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has suspended lawyer Martha Mushipe from practising law for alleged professional misconduct.
In a notice by LAZ legal practitioners committee secretary Samuel Wumasi, Ms Mushipe is not expected to appear in any court of law and should not file court processes of whatever nature until further notice.
Mr Wumasi has further directed that Ms Mushipe’s law firm be closed with immediate effect.
The notice is also addressed to the Chief Justice, Supreme and High Court judges, the Attorney General, the Solicitor General, the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Registrar of the High Court.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
