Kick out Covid-19 Alliance and Organisation of Zambians Living abroad-OZA has joined government in combating Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
The two organisations have since donated covid-19 items to National Organisation for Women in Sport, Physical Activity and Reaction-NOWSPAR which will be distributed to the grass roots in selected parts of the country.
The items donated culminate from the 20 thousand Dollars which was raised by Zambians Living abroad in May last year.
Among the items donated are gloves, masks, hand sanitizers, buckets, Thermometers among others.
Speaking when receiving the donations, NOWSPAR Executive Director Lombe Mwambwa said the covid 19 pandemic if not stemmed it will have a negative impact on most vulnerable communities and pose a risk to efforts and progress achieved so in defeating poverty.
And a representative from the Organisation of Zambians Living Abroad-OZA Matilda Mwaba Lucas said there is need for everyone to do whatever they can to ensure the battle against Covid 19 is overcome.
