Kapoko bail application rejected

CHOMBA MUSIKA, Lusaka
THE Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has thrown out an application for bail pending appeal by former Ministry of Health human resource development officer Henry Kapoko and four others.On August 2 this year, magistrate Exnorbit Zulu sentenced the five former Ministry of Health employees to 18 years imprisonment with hard labour for theft by public servant, theft and money laundering involving K6.8 million.
The convicts are Kapoko of Woodlands Extension, Zukas Kaoma, the acting principal accountant of Lilayi, and Musaba, a chief accountant of Ibex Hill.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
