” Nationality does not matter, The coach has to be good. Football has no nationality . A coach should be professional and should believe in the youth who are the future of African football,” Kanouté told the ZamFoot crew in an interview

“The most important thing is dedication. Obviously you have trained coaches here so in the future they wi be capable of taking care of the national team . This is what is ideal for me . I would like to see African coaches take care of their own countries, That’s the route we have taken in Mali which shows we are training coaches good enough to take care of our national teams,” He added.

The 12 MANagement CEO is currently in Zambia to share some knowledge on youth development with FAZ division side Kafue Celtic coaches.

Kanouté’s 12 MANagement and Kafue Celtic have a partnership and the Malian football legend represents a number of former Kafue Celtic players including Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu.
