Kangwa scores in Arsenal’s win over CSKA Moscow

Zambia’s export to Russia Evans Kangwa on Saturday scored a goal to his team Arsenal Tula beat Premier League giants CSKA Moscow.

Kangwa has left his goals for the ‘giant kills’ having scored twice when his team beat log leaders Zenit 4 – 2 and this time being involved in both goals against third placed CSKA.

The former Nkana striker was named in the starting XI as the second striker and looked dangerous with his runs in the final third.

His run from deep in his own half on the left of midfield was picked with a long cross-field ball from the right which he controlled well.

He curled a beautiful shot with his right foot but was unfortunate to see his effort come off the far post with the goalkeeper beaten.

The rebound fell kindly for his strike partner Dordevic who finished off with a hard shot in the box that went through the hands of the goalie in the 48th minute.

Dordevic returned the favour in the 88th minute when he broke on the right on a counter attack and squared the ball for the Kangwa who was arriving in the box at full pace.

He almost made a mess of his effort but recovered well to force the ball in while on the ground for Arsenal’s second.

This was the 26 year old’s third goal in 14 appearances.
