By Wilson Mulinda- Former Home Affairs Minister STEPHEN KAMPYONGO says President EDGAR LUNGU understands the premium that needs to be placed on the security of the state because he once served as Home Affairs Minister.

Mr. KAMPYONGO says defence and security forces needed to be empowered and motivated to perform to expectation, which is why houses and offices have been built for them under the PF.

He says development is not a one-off achievement but is an ongoing process that requires time and consistency.

Mr. KAMPYONGO was speaking during the Virtual PF rally at Mulungushi Conference center in Lusaka today.

And former Information and Broadcasting Services Minister DORA SILIYA said Government has a policy of having a school and health facility at least within a radius of 4 kilometers in all communities.

Ms. SILIYA said President LUNGU has also prioritised small businesses and entrepreneurship because he understands how it can build the future generation.

Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Whip BRIAN MUNDUBILE said the industrialisation has attracted many investors which resulted in a boost for the economy.

Mr. MUNDUBILE said Social cash transfer has also uplifted many households.

And former Kantanshi Member of Parliament, ANTHONY MUMBA said the Constituency has witnessed massive development since 2011 when the PF assumed power.

Dr. MUMBA said load shedding was also brought under control by the PF, another reason why Zambians need to return President LUNGU.
