Kambole is one of the most disciplined players as Lupiya admits he will be missed

Zesco United Assistant coach Alfred Lupiya heaped praise on outgoing striker Lazarus Kambole who he described as one of the most disciplined players at Zesco United.

Lupiya told the ZamFoot Crew that Kambole deserved everything that is coming his way because of his discipline and humble nature.

“Lazarus is a very disciplined player. When he came here he struggled to get a position, he was insulted but he is one of the best-disciplined players at Zesco. We have a disciplined side and don’t tolerate indiscipline but Lazarus is one of the best-disciplined players that’s why he is achieving all those goals, He is a good boy God will help him,” he said.

Lupiya admitted that the club will miss the new Amakhosi acquisition and that it will be hard to replace him. He, however, feels its time to let him go as he has done enough for the club.

“We will miss him a lot and it will be hard to replace him but we have to let him go he has done a lot for our club. We just have to find a replacement, ” he said.

Kambole will play his last home game this Saturday when Zesco United will square off with Zanaco in the final of the ABSA Cup and he is one of the players who could decide this encounter.

Kambole has become a hot cake in Africa football in the last three years and since scored 50 goals for both club and country since January 2017 and 14 of those came in continental football.
