Kalomo man shoots dead his wife and her alleged lover

A Game Scout of Kalomo District in Southern Province has allegedly shot dead his wife and her lover.

Zambia Police Service Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA says FAIR MULEYA 42, a Game Scout at Dundumwezi Game Camp shot dead his wife PRECIOUS MOONO and her lover WISDOM PINTO both 34, after she admitted having a sexual affair.

Mr. HAMOONGA says Mr. MULEYA called PINTO and his wife to question them concerning the allegations.

He says the suspect was armed with a firearm from his point of  duty as he questioned the two.

Mr. HAMOONGA says the suspect shot the two in the neck but his wife died on the spot whilst PINTO died 50 meters away from the scene of shooting.

He says the bodies of the deceased have been deposited in Kalomo District Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial.
