Kalaba, Sunzu Lead Early Arrivals at Chipolopolo Camp

The Chipolopolo boys got down to business ahead of Wednesday’s Cameroon 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea Bissau at National Heroes.

A steady stream of foreign based players turned up for the session that kicked off at 17:30 hours at National Heroes Stadium.

The TP Mazembe trio of Rainford Kalaba, Kabaso Chongo and Nathan Sinkala were part of the training with France based Stoppila Sunzu and Lubambo Musonda from Armenia also joining the session.

Polokwane City’s Salulani Phiri and Clatous Chama of FC Simba were among the early arrivals with the local legion also adding up the numbers.

The only remaining players summoned for duty are the Red Bull Salzburg duo of Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu whose club has a league match on Sunday while Fashion Sakala will also be expected on Monday.

Only players from Green Buffaloes were being awaited from the local players with Jack Chirwa and Gideon Sichone in action for their club on Sunday.

The South Africa based trio of skipper Kennedy Mweene (Mamelodi Sundowns), Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga (both Orlando Pirates) have arrived but were not part of the Sunday evening session.

Zambia hosts Guinea Bissau on Wednesday with the match kicking off at 17:30 hours.
