ZANACO Football Club Coach KELVIN KAINDU says the team still stands a chance of progressing to the next round of the CAF Champions league despite the 3-nil loss to Sudanese side Al Merrikh in the first leg.

The Bankers will tomorrow host Al Merrikh in the return leg to be played at the National Heroes Staduim in Lusaka at 15:00 hours.

And KAINDU says a lot of work has been done to ensure the team overturns the result which is a huge disadvantage heading into the encounter.

He was speaking during a pre-match press conference in Lusaka today ahead of tomorrow’s game.

KAINDU disclosed that the team is injury free and more players are available for selection.

And Al Merrikh Assistant Coach GRAZITO ANTHONY said tomorrow’s game will be a difficult match as both teams hunt for a win.

ANTHONY said despite the three nil advantage the target is to win the match.

Al Merrikh Captain ADELEYE OLAMILEKAN said the team’s aim is to win the game despite it being a difficult fixture.

ZANACO Captain ZIYO TEMBO said the presence of the football fans will be a huge motivation for the team.
