Kabwe Warriors seek Sunset Verdict

With arguebly one of the highly anticipated FAZ super league matches this campaign in stream A, unbeaten Kabwe Warriors make the long awaited trip to Sunset stadium were they will face in-form Sensational Zanaco . If questioned at the start the season whether Warriors would go over 14 games unbeaten, the odds will have not favoured them.

Placed at 5th position with 23 points and just four games shy of finishing invicible, an away test against the Stream A log leaders,Zanaco stands in their way.

Zanaco have accounted well for themselves this season and lead the log with 26 points from the 14 games played so far. Their goal scoring instincts, especially at home, has seen them finding the back of the net 35 times, 8 goals better than any club in both streams. However, their poor defensive set up has been a major weakness, a situation leading to them conceding 23 goals.

Numba Mumamba saw his team give away a 2 goal lead and eventually losing 3-2 the last time the two sides met at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium in the reverse fixture. Another slip up this weekend would be a dent in their title challenge ambitions in this highly contested Stream.

A win by Kabwe Warriors would see them bridge the point gap and keep their continental hopes alive. Zanaco on the contrary, know clearly that a third defeat in a roll won’t be a good reading.
