Defending Champions Zesco United Football Club has climbed the ladder into the top four of the MTN Super League table on NINE points after brushing aside Kabwe Warriors two goals to nil in a rescheduled week two fixture.

With both teams recording losses in their last Super league encounters, winning this afternoon was top of the agenda for both sides.

Having played the first half to a nil ALL  stalemate, Young prodigy Solomon Sakala put Zesco United in front in the 55th minute.

With the team in command of the game, ZESCO added a second through Kenyan import striker Jesse Jackson Were in the 73rd minute to make it two nil to the electricity boys.

Victory at the Godfrey Chitalu Stadium has catapulted ZESCO United into the top four as they have registered their third win of the season.

Zesco has two games in hand while Warriors has one more  game in hand.
