FAZ Division Two Champions Jumulo Football Club held its first Player’s Awards the at Moba Hotel in Kitwe on the 23rd of June, 2019. The successful awards Gala attracted various stakeholders from the football circles who have been actively involved in the Beautiful Game.

Speaking during the Award Ceremony Bwalya Nkandu the Jumulo Group Executive Operations Manager made an assurance that Sponsorship will continue at the Club for the growth of football.

“Before the start of the season, the club will have a well branded and exclusive bus. A sum of $2m(about K26, 000,000) has been set aside to meet clubs operations and for the rehabilitation of Jumulo FC home ground Buchi Stadium,” he explained.

There were further sponsorship commitments from other sponsors like J One Security, Lifeline Investments Ltd and Sport One Africa Limited. Lifeline Investments sales executive Mr Obi Malambo staked K500, 000.00 as next seasons sponsorship to the club.

THE AWARD WINNERS.

Donald Sikaonga Won the Clubs Most Disciplined player of the season, he’s award was presented by Power Dynamos Goalkeeper Joshua Titima.

Most Improved Players went to John Ngobola, the award was Presented by Francis Kasonde, The Former 2012 afcon Winner with the Senior Zambia National Team. Brian Museum was awarded the most consistent player, the award was presented by Chisamba Lungu the Nkana Midfielder.

The Chairman’s player of the season award for 2019 went to Weta Placide Boleke for his good exertions and versatility during the season and was handed by the Nkana Fc Chairman Mr Charles Chakatazya. Jackson Kampamba Won the Young Player Of the season.

Ricky Banda walked away with the Clubs Top Goal Scorer award while Kunda Musonda wrapped up the awards as Player of the season for Jumulo Football Club 2019.

Players who graced the Occasion included Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba, Joshua Titima, Chisamba Lungu, Perry ‘Bebeto’ Mutapa and Francis Kasonde. Former PDFC Chairman Chalimba Phiri was the special guest while Mr Pearson Mwale the Guest of honour.
