Jealous husband sets fire to estranged wife’s house

A SPURNED husband has torched his estranged partner’s house in Milenge district of Luapula province.Peter, 54, of Muntu Village, Chief Sonkontwe’s Chiefdom, burnt down the property of his estranged wife soon after discovering that she had “grown close” to another man.Police say property worth over K 7, 000 and hard cash amounting to K 450 was destroyed in the fire.Police have since launched investigations into the matter and are search of the suspect.No life was lost in the incident.
