Italy 🇮🇹: Lameck Banda subbed off at half time

Zambian forward Lameck Banda was substituted at half time in tactical move.

Banda’s Lecce suffered a shock 2-0 home defeat to Sassuolo in Coppa Italia.

The defeat to a second tier side infuriated the home fans.

Following their elimination from the Coppa Italia, Lecce will now turn their attention to Friday’s Serie A tie against Milan.

This was Banda’s 6th appearance in all competition this season.

The 23 year old is expected to lead Zambia’s attack next month in the Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

The 2012 African Champions will face Chad in back to back matches.
