Sensational Zanaco football club on Wednesday afternoon played out yo a goalless draw was the High Flying Nkwazi in rescheduled week 20 encounter played at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

According to the Zanaco Head Coach, Chris Kaunda, the result was fair because he was facing his former team that knows him and his tactics well.

“It’s a fair result because they knew me and what I was going to do so it was not able about playing Zanaco but about me, when you come from losing its very different the players get affected so this draw with against Nkwazi it’s a good result,” Kaunda told the ZamFoot Crew after the match.

Following the draw, the Bankers remain in 10th place and eight points away from the top for but Kaunda believes continental Football is still a realistic target for them.

“We have not given up on the Qualifying for Continental Football the race is still on it’s not easy we pushing players to do things they can’t do, it’s like we have started a new season all over again this COVID-19 has exposed the players so everyone is affected,” Kaunda said.

The next game for the Lusaka based side will be against Choma giants Green Eagles on Wednesday the 29th of July, 2020 at the Choma Independence Stadium. Zanaco has only managed to collect one point from the two games they have played so far since the resumption of the Super League.
