INTANGIBLES TO BOOST TOURISM

Executive says the inspect of intangible cultural heritage will boost the tourism sector.
Minister of tourism and humanities Charles Banda says right here is because tourism is about attracting folks to original indigenous practices, gala’s and beliefs.
Mr. Banda says intangible cultural heritage will enrich the tourism package deal while upholding nationwide identification and culture.
He become speaking in an interview on the sidelines of the legit opening of a stakeholders’ workshop for the University of Zambia -UNZA- and UNESCO Intangible cultural heritage.
UNZA will birth offering a level programme in Intangible Cultural heritage in February 2019.
The first consumption can have 20 college students who will be backed by UNESCO and the authorities.
In the period in-between, UNZA – UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Mission Coordinator Munukayumbwa Munyima said the extent can have nineteen classes.
