IG TOLD TO FIND THE HATEMBO’S

By Etambuyu Kakoma-The Consortium of Political Parties has given Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja 48 hours to locate the missing Hatembo witnesses in the forgery case of the 1924 farm purchase by UPND leader Hakainde Hachilema.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Consortium representative Cosmo Mumba says appropriate action must be taken because the case has generated serious public concern and members of the Hatembo family are concerned.

Dr. Mumba also urged Members of Parliament from the ruling party and opposition parties without grade 12 certificates to resign and pay back the money they acquired during service to Zambians since 2016.

He added that his party will support President Edgar Lungu in the August general election to ensure the continuation of the country’s development agenda.

Dr. Mumba has also expressed interest to run as Mayor or Member of Parliament for either Chinsali or Kanyama in the August polls.
