The Zambia Police Service has expressed gratitude to the Zambia Chinese Association for their continued support towards up scaling community safety.
Inspector General of Police GRAPHEL MUSAMBA says the relationship between Zambia and China dates back to Zambia’s independence as China has provided financial and material support.
Speaking when the Zambia Chinese Association donated goods worth 260,000 Kwacha to the Police Service, Mr. MUSAMBA said the goods will assist the service with combating the Cholera outbreak.
Mr. MUSAMBA said the service has put in place pro-active measures to work in partnership with communities to address safety challenges through the Community Services Directorate -CSD-.
Meanwhile, Zambia Chinese Association Chairperson WU MING said the donated goods serve as China’s concerted efforts in aiding Zambia to combat the cholera pandemic and ensuring good health in all communities.
Mr. WU said China will continue to partner with the Zambian government to stimulate economic and social development.
