Hundreds witness Daev’s burial

Musician DAVID PHIRI, popularly known as DAEV Zambia, who died with 4 others in a road accident on the Chirundu-Kafue road, has been put to rest at Lusaka’s Memorial Park.

Earlier Hundreds of mourners paid their last respect at the Lusaka Play House and the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka, where church service was held for DAEV.

And speaking during the church service, Tourism Minister, RONALD CHITOTELA said government is mourning with the bereaved families of all the five people, who perished in the accident.

And National Arts Council of Zambia Chairperson, PATRICK SAMWIMBILA has implored government to help artists build an auditorium, where musicians can use to send off the departed.
