Hosting Of 2020 Zambia Agriculture And Commercial Show In Limbo

The Agriculture and Commercial Show Society says it is still Consulting Government on whether the Hosting of the Annual event must go ahead amidst the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Society President Cosmas Michelo says Discussions with the Ministry of Agriculture and other line ministries are currently underway to determine if it is fit to host the annual event.

Mr Michelo told Phoenix Business News that for now, the show Society cannot state its position until consultations are concluded.

The 94th Agriculture and Commercial Show is Expected to start in the next two months but with increasing daily numbers of Covid-19 cases being reported in the country, hosting of the event is threatened.
