Hichilema Goes Zungulila in 5th Bid To Become President
UPND president Hakainde Hichilema has told thousands of Lubansenshi Constituency residents in Luwingu District, Northern Province, that his vision is to build a united and healthy Zambia in which the people are economically liberated through the UPND’s 10 Point Plan.
The UPND leader, who was accompanied by UDF President Miles Sampa, UPND Lubansenshi Constituency candidate Patrick Mucheleka and other officials, outlined his vision for the country that seeks to empower rural communities through a robust support for farmers and related value addition industries.
Hichilema and his team addressed a jubilant crowd at Kapisha grounds late this afternoon, where he also bemoaned the failing healthcare in the country due to increased poverty levels.
Hichilema said it was worrying that the healthcare sector in the country remained under staffed and underfunded with limited drug supplies, especially for the rural communities.
He also expressed his displeasure at the way the PF Government had neglected critical personnel in the country such as civil servants that were now having their salaries delayed again.
UDF President Miles Sampa said that the PF under President Lungu has lamentably failed to deliver any economic agenda.
Sampa says UPND President Hakainde Hichilema is the only Presidential candidate with a proven record of economic management.
The UDF leader called on the local communities to enjoy all the free gifts the PF were offering them such as market loans, bicycles, and others items but advised them to do another “donchi kubeba” part two on them.
UPND Lubansenshi Constituency aspiring candidate Patrick Mucheleka also added that the PF has failed to reduce poverty in the country despite numerous false promises.
Mucheleka said that due to rampant cheating by the PF, the people in Northern Province have decided to vote for the UPND President in the forthcoming general elections.
