HH woos farmers in Central Province

UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated to the Zambian people that the only way of reducing poverty and inequality in the country is through job creation and maximising the potential of the resources the country possesses.

Speaking when he addressed campaign meetings in the strong farming areas of Masansa, Chikupili and Chifwebe in rural parts of Mkushi District on Monday, Hichilema praised the work of agricultural companies, such as the Mulungushi textile industry, noting that it is a ready made cotton market for the agricultural sector.

He explained that by supporting these companies to find long term solutions to their challenges, a lot of jobs would be created.

On Sunday, the UPND leader attended the first mass of the newly ordained Fr. Cletus Kalembo in Kabwe and addressed a campaign meeting at Meembe grounds.
