HH TO FLAG OFF FISP DISTRIBUTION

Agriculture Minister Reuben Mtolo says President Hakainde Hichilema will flag off the distribution of farming inputs to farmers towards the end of next week.

Mr. Mtolo explains that the distribution of inputs under the Farmers Input Support Program- FISP delayed because audits that where being carried out.

He has told ZNBC News that Government instituted audits under the programme to establish how much money was spent on the program.

Meanwhile Mr. Mtolo said Government has opened the export of Maize, Soya beans, sun flower and other specific agriculture produce.

He said all Zambians are free to exports the agriculture produce provided they acquire an export permits from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Mr. Mtolo further clarified that Mealie Meal will only be exported by millers who have export permits.

He said Government only allowed Millers with export permits to deter some people from buying in bulk from chain stores.
