HH, GBM lose bid

THE Supreme Court has dismissed an application by United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema asking Lusaka High Court Judge Mwila Chitabo to recuse himself from handling a case regarding his right to be heard.This is in the 2016 presidential election petition case, which was dealt with by the Constitutional Court before President Edgar Lungu and Vice-President Inonge Wina were sworn in.
In this matter, Mr Hichilema and UPND vice-president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba asked Judge Chitabo to recuse himself from the matter in which they wanted the Lusaka High Court to grant them the right to be heard.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
