Grandmother, 66, found raped and killed in her home, Police say

POLICE in Chisamba District of Central  Province are investigating a case of murder and rape after a 66-year-old woman was found dead in her house.Police Spokesperson Mrs Esther Mwaata Katongo told Mwebantu that a female adult aged 66 of Mukwemba village; Chisamba District was raped and strangled to death by unknown people.“This occurred between 15th September, 2018 around 20 00 hours and 16th September at 06 00 hours at the victim’s house.Investigations have been launched and we appeal to members of the public who could have information helpful in the investigations to report to any nearest Police.” She said.
