The game started on an even note with both teams pressing for an early goal which proved elusive.

The first real chance of the match fell to Arrows striker Grace Chanda who should have done better but her header ended up not even troubling Anna Mukumbuta, The Yasa Goal keeper who had an excellent game and was always equal to the task making decisive saves playing as a sweeper keeper too.

The trio of Maiwase, Helen Mubanga and Grace Chanda were a thorn in the Yasa defence but all their efforts were not that accurate and had nothing much to worry Yasa defensive line marshalled by Tuty Kamanga, Peza Kakandu, Limited Mulenga and a strong Patricia Lampi who had a decent game and tried with her long range set pieces going forward but could not trouble Susan Nalyamba on the Arrows goal.

Florence Kasonde And Thanda tested Susan Nalyamba with a few chances they had but most went off target though Kasonde could have scored for Yasa in the dying minutes of the game with only the keeper to beat but failed as her shot was pallied out for a corner.

The battle line was in the middle of the park with Arrows Commanding play very well but failed to utilise the ball in the final third as Yasa were well organised and composed at the back with great marking.

Thanda showed some quality of play with her runs each time she had the ball and almost equalised for the away team but lacked more support from her team mates and had to overcome a solid Arrows midfield coming up with the Experienced Susan Banda, Quick feet of Mary Mambwe And the Player of the match Rachel Lungu who was absolutely amazing in the game to give no space to Catherine Ngambi, Tamara Chibamba and Christine Nyirongo hence cutting supply line to Ruth Ndala And Florence Kasonde.

Rachel Lungu, has been impressive for Arrows in the last two matches against Green Eagles she was on top of the game and against Yasa, the midfielder was really a marvel to watch, quick reaction, Compact, Great Runs and intercepted so many balls to give no chance to the Helen Kaunda based team.

Yasa players should be commended for putting up a spirited fight especially in the second half with the introduction of Susan Mwansa, Melisa Mataba and Annie Milambo very skillful wingers adding more fire power to the team unfortunately to no avail.

Arrows introduced Iless Phiri, Ochumba ‘Dauchu’ Libanji and Macrina Daka for Susan Lungu, Maiwase And Mary Mambwe respectively but still could not penetrate the Yasa Defence.

Arrows back four led by team captain Doreen Mwaseba on the left back, Mary Mulenga On the Right and at some point could switch positions were outstanding throughout the game including

Helen Chánda despite playing in a different position partnering with Elizabeth in the Heart of defence for the air women combined well and was very good on the ball with her usual play and interceptions though she was Sent Off in the latter stages of the game after some altercations with the referee.

After 90+ added minutes Red Arrows walked away with maximum 3 points which took them to 30 Points 4 above Yasa and 6 below Log Leaders Green Buffaloes who invaded National Assembly two goals to One on the same day. As for Yasa it’s back to the drawing board ahead of yet another uphill battle against Buffaloes to summaries first round of Action in the Football Association Of Zambia(FAZ) Lusaka Region Women’s League.

Hoping the likes of Natasha ‘Pogba’ Mulenga who was an unused substitute back from Injury could be roped into the squad to add more life and energy to the team for the desired result.
